Who is the french-baker?

Once upon a time, there was a French-born guy who came to Monterey to teach French at the Defense Language Institute, where he was awarded the Coin of the Commandant *. After teaching he attended the Ferrandi Parisian Pastry School in France-Paris ** to perfect the baking skills he learned from his mother. Upon his return to the Peninsula, family and friends encouraged him to share his baked goods with the community. Thus “french-baker” was born.
